For a guy in only his second season, Ian Velardi is doing big things and as far as buzz in concerned, the ball is firmly in his court. His F/W 2011 wears are hitting Barneys any day now and S/S 2012 only reaffirms that if any new American designer is deserved of our attention, it’s him. We love Ian’s collection because of it’s pure sportswear DNA. With everything made in Italy (outside of the two tuxedos) there is a tangible high end feel to all the clothes. This luxury juxtaposed with the casual nature of the clothes makes for a wonderful combination. So, what did we learn? This is how a man should dress.
