Gourmet Footwear’s 2012 F/W Preview

You have nothing to fear, the ocelot won’t hurt you.

Gourmet Footwear’s 2012 Fall/Winter collection will include an exotic print branded as the “Ocelot”. Y’all know what an ocelot is right? Here’s a brief lesson: it’s a dwarf leopard living extensively through South America, Central America, and Mexico. How exotic. The Dieci 2 SN, Quattro Skate S, and The 35 are Gourmet’s trio of footwear silhouettes. The aesthetic theme of the trio is a black-based contrast with the bold Ocelot print.

The Dieci 2 SN is drenched in soft ultra suede with an off-white cup-sole and asymmetrical lacing for that individual who wants to take a different approach to tying up their kicks. (Or leaving them untied.) The two-panel construction of the Quattro Skate is made perfectly for those ollies that tear up the side of your shoes when skateboarding. With the suede on the toe box, it allows for the Quattro to be both durable and stylish, and it still serves its functional purpose as a skate shoe. Last, The 35′s style has the least amount of Ocelot print but includes a more traditional design approach. The black mesh and full grain leather upper gives The 35 that trainer shoe feel to stand the test of time if you decide to get your work out on.
