Now Boarding: Air (capsule)

Last weekend (capsule) Berlin wrapped up on Friday night.
(capsule) Paris began on Saturday morning.
This is the way the European market weeks are scheduled.
No airline had any flights that fit this crazy back-to-back calendar.

The (capsule) community has accomplished a lot together, but schlepping an entire season’s worth of clothing 550 miles / 878 km’s? Oy.

So, due to outstanding circumstances, we created Air (capsule). Still buzzing from finishing up the Berlin show, designers, buyers, and various crews packed onto our PJ and thus commenced our maiden voyage non-stop to Charles De Gaulle Airport. It was grimly noted that, if this bird went down, we’d at least be better dressed than those divas on Lost. Though it was too bad no one was exhibiting their Resort collections…

What transpired on that flight was by far the most fun, friend-filled, and efficient method of hauling ass across Europe in order to appear on time to exhibit in back to back tradeshows. With our feet and AW12 collections safely on the ground, we set out to complete our Three Countries Three Shows One Week (capsule) Marathon. Until next year!
