Underground cool girls of decades past, including Sable Starr, Cyrinda Foxe, and Anya Phillips, provided the inspiration behind Organic by John Patrick‘s AW13 lineup of streamlined, sleek knits and separates. This season, John Patrick wanted to put a strong focus on outerwear in the collection, which he accomplished while still remaining true to the brand’s roots by using a sustainable yarn that is CO2 neutral. The coats and sweaters were crafted out of recycled fibers of pure cashmere extracted from the waste of industrial knitted panels. This season, keeping warm never felt so healthy.
