As an Australian living in New York City, I would often find myself in conversations in which I said something to the effect of “the only thing I miss about home is the music.” Consider yourself lucky, USA, that it was the “only” thing I missed (side note: Vegemite and my family were closely followed.) Nevertheless, I wanted to make a playlist with a selection of some of my favorite Aussie bands (many of whom I call close friends) from the past and present. Keep your ears and eyes peeled for these names in lights in the very near future, trust me!
